U.S. Marines assigned to Delta Battery, 2nd Battalion, 14th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division and Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 452, Marine Aircraft Group 49, 4th Marine Aircraft Wing, conduct a rapid insertion of an M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS), in support of Weapons and Tactics Instructor (WTI) course 2-21, at San Clemente Island, Calif., April 5, 2021. The WTI course is a seven-week training event hosted by MATWS-1, providing standardized advanced tactical training certification of unit instructors qualifications to support Marine aviation training and readiness, and assists in developing and employing aviation weapons and tactics.
