Major General Eric Olson, Commanding General of the 25th Infantry Division, speaks after awarding combat patches to Tropic Lightning Soldiers. He also awarded his Soldiers and other service members their Global War on Terrorism medals and Expeditionary medals. He talked about the significance of the right-sleeve combat patch, which signifies they were ready to put their lives on the line in defense of their country. He said his Soldiers are making a huge difference in the Global War on Terroism and winning the fight in Afghanistan, allowing free elections. Video from 105th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment.
