Soldiers from the 101st Airborne Division deployed to Cleveland at the request of the Federal Emergency Management Agency to assist with vaccination efforts in Ohio. Partnering with the Ohio National Guard, Ohio Department of Health, the Ohio Emergency Management Association and FEMA, the 101st Screaming Eagles have administered over 230,000 vaccines in Northeast Ohio. U.S. Northern Command, through U.S. Army North, remains committed to providing continued, flexible Department of Defense support to FEMA as part of the whole-of-government response to COVID-19.
