U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Mikaela Jones, a Tokyo, Japan native and aerospace medical technician from Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, users her ability to speak the Japanese to assist a community member at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Newark, May 27, 2021. Having grown up for a time in Tokyo, Jones was able to employ her unique qualities and skills for the benefit of the Newark community and the objectives of team NJIT.
