U.S. Marines with 4th Tank Battalion, 4th Marine Division, Marine Forces Reserve, provide the history of 4th Tank Bn. In San Diego, California, May 15, 2021. The Marines bid their final farewell to the battalion as it was deactivated in accordance with the Marine Corps' Force Design 2030 modernization and capabilities-realignment efforts in order to stay prepared for the future fight against near-peer enemies.
