MASTR-E measures, predicts, and enhances close combat performance with sensors, data-driven decision aids, and targeted interventions to maximize Soldier lethality.
The 72 Hour Field Study (72HFS), a component of the MASTR-E program, simulates a series of battle drills for platoon-sized elements that include movement to contact, loaded ruck march, and dynamic live-fire marksmanship. Through the simulations, the field study measures, enhances, and predicts close combat performance and lethality at the Squad level.
