Army Reserve Soldiers, from the 307th Medical Brigade out of Blacklick, OH provide Health screenings, Dental care, Optometry, Behavioral Health and Veterinary Services as part of the Coal Country Health Services Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) conducted in Knox and Clay County, Kentucky on June 21, 2021. Requested by Knox and Clay County, the Coal Country IRT mission is a civil-military program that builds a mutually beneficial partnership between U.S. communities and the Department of Defense to meet training and readiness requirements for Active, Guard and Reserve service members while addressing public and civil society needs.
