The New York Army National Guard’s 27th Infantry Brigade Combat Team welcomed its new commander during a change of command ceremony at Fort Drum, New York, July 17, 2021.
During the ceremony, Col. Sean M. Flynn assumed command of the “Orion” Brigade from Col. Robert F. Charlesworth. Charlesworth has commanded the brigade since June 2019 and is retiring after more than 29 years of service.
