The Paul W. Airey Ruck March is an annual event that honors the legacy and history of the first Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force.
In February 1945, Chief Airey and 6,000 other prisoners of war were forced to march 400 miles through war torn Germany. This race is a dedication to that march.
Over 200 service members participated in the race this year. Here are the highlights from this event.
