U.S Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) Command Sergeants Major certify the land navigation lane ahead of the MEDCOM 2021 Best Leader Competition, July 22, 2021 at Hickam Beach, Hawaii. The Best Leader Competition is designed to promote “Esprit de Corps” throughout the Army while recognizing Soldiers and NCOs who demonstrate commitment to the Army values and embody the Warrior Ethos. The MEDCOM Sergeants Major certified all of the lanes in advance of the competition. Certification involved them completing the grueling lanes themselves. The competition, which includes Soldiers from all four of the Army's regional health commands, is underway July 25-30, 2021 on and around Schofield Barracks. (U.S. Army video by Cpl. Andrew Garcia and Cpl. Christian Simmons)
