    130th Airlift Wing

    The last C-130 H series three mission crewed by airmen from the 130th Airlift Wing took off August 3, 2021, from Yeager Airport, Charleston, West Virginia.

    Aircraft tail number 96-7325 crewed by Lt. Col. Rober Menear, Maj. Steve Szente, Maj. Sam Stuck, Technical Sgt. Chris Kirk, Staff Sgt. Andrew Toney, and Airman 1st Class Tever Meadows.

    The Air Force selected the 130th Airlift Wing to convert to the C-130J- 30 Super Hercules on May 19, 2021.

    The 130th Airlift Wing previously operated eight C-130H3 Hercules model aircraft, which are more than 25 years old. The 130th Airlift Wing has had a C-130 mission since 1975 and has converted to numerous variations of the C-130 over the years.
