Lance Lewis, the commanding officer of Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Iwakuni, speaks about his experience regarding the Sept. 11 terrorist attack during an interview at MCAS Iwakuni, Japan, Aug. 27, 2021. Lewis was with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 251 when he heard about the attack.
