The Curtis E. LeMay Center for Doctrine Development and Education at Air University will be releasing the Air Force’s first Agile Combat Employment doctrine note soon. The United States Air Force is using the term ACE to describe a way of operating that relies less on large traditional main overseas bases as hubs for projecting combat power and more on launching, recovering, and maintaining aircraft from dispersed forward operating locations in concert with allies and partners. Stay tuned to doctrine.af.mil for full doctrine note content. (U.S. Air Force video by Airman 1st Class Cody Gandy)
