The 140th Chemical Company from the California National Guard along with the 738th Area Support Medical Company, from the Indiana Army National Guard, conducted mass casualty decontamination training and medical triage with live volunteers at the Ben Clark Training Center, in Riverside, CA Oct. 21, 2021 as part of Dense Urban Terrain LA 21.
From October 17-22, 2021, the Dense Urban Terrain exercise in Los Angeles included over 170 Soldiers from 12 National Guard units and two U.S. Army Reserve with military police, engineering, medical, logistics and HAZMAT-response capabilities.
The Michigan National Guard's 46th Military Police Command (Task Force 46), under U. S. Army North (Fifth Army) provides command and control to units that partner and train with civilian authorities to effectively respond to a significant incident or complex catastrophic event requiring a national effort.
