YOKOSUKA, Japan (Oct. 14, 2021) - Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center Yokosuka hosted the Worldwide Expeditionary Multiple Award Contract (WEXMAC) post-award orientation conference with contract awardees from industries in logistics, material handling, lodging, force protection, communications, provisions, clothing, fuel and medical supplies.
WEXMAC will replace conventional contracting practices which typically take months to source and award down to a matter of weeks. This will enable critical supplies and services to be delivered to NECC units performing missions in remote regions with minimized administrative delay.
