For the first time in nearly 100 years, members of the public enter the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier plaza and lay flowers to mark the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier Centennial Commemoration. Karen Durham-Aguilera, executive director of the Arlington National Cemetery, delivers the opening remarks, and Harry Rock Above, a member of the Crow Nation and descendant of Chief Plenty Coups, performs a smudging ceremony and delivers recreated remarks given by his ancestor in 1921, when the tomb was dedicated.
