Thousands of people visit Arlington National Cemetery November 9-11, 2021 to pay their respects to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in honor of the monument’s centennial commemoration.
In the days leading up the Veterans Day, the public was allowed on the plaza for the first time in nearly a century so they could lay a flower in front of the Tomb.
On Veterans Day, a full honors procession and joint aerial review preceded a wreath laying by President Joseph R. Biden and Secretary of Veterans Affairs Denis McDonough.
