U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers from around the country conduct a variety of specialized chemical training at Fort McCoy, Wis., Sept. 18, 2020. This training focuses on honing Soldiers' chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) skill sets. Soldiers will obtain unit validation as part of a three-week annual exercise known as Operation Desert Dragon.
The exercise is designed to be the premiere CBRN validation event for Army Reserve units, and serve as the culminating training event for premobilization and top tier priority units. This recently reactivated brigade encompasses three battalions, 12 companies, two Army Reserve Elements and more than 2000 Soldiers spread across the Nation (U.S. Army video by Cedar Wolf, Fort McCoy Multi-Media Visual Information).
