Soldiers of 3rd Infantry Division honor the service and bravery of three distinct Dogface Soldiers by renaming three installation gates after them, Fort Stewart, Georgia, Nov 18, 2021. During the dedication ceremony, gates 1, 3 and 5 were named after the Distinguished Service Cross recipient Capt. Jesse Wooldridge, Medal of Honor Recipient Capt. Maurice Lee “Footsie” Britt and Medal of Honor Recipient Cpl. Hiroshi H. “Hershey” Miyamura, respectively.
