The 299th Multi-Role Bridge Company held a demonstration at Fort Belvoir to show the Brazilian Army’s Chief of the Department of Engineering and Construction, and Lt. Gen. Scott Spellmon, the 55th Chief of Engineers and Commanding General of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, utilizing specialized engineering equipment, as well as their bridging capability to deploy a floating Improved Ribbon Bridge. The Product Manager Mobile Electronic Power Systems (PdM MEPS) also demonstrated micro-grid capabilities to the leaders.
