Kenneth McMillen, 301st Fighter Wing Logistics Readiness Squadron, Naval Air Station Fort Worth Joint Reserve Base, Texas, Dec. 5, 2021. The Airman’s Medal is the Air Force’s highest non-combat award for Airmen who distinguish themselves by a heroic act. McMillen displayed exemplary courage and heroism when he was willing to risk his life to save the life a woman caught in a house fire.
