JCSE's Communications Support Detachment (CSD), otherwise known as the "Pirates", are known for living up to their motto; "Excellence without Exception."
The CSD's mission is to maintain trained and ready teams for worldwide deployments who would plan, organize, and direct the overall accomplishment of all levels of maintenance support. This involves power generation, environmental control, and transportation assets assigned or attached to JCSE.
They foster innovation and provide the critical support needed for the service-members of JCSE to include a Boat Crew! CSD’s Lead Boat-Operator, SSgt Justin Howard, explains.
