Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron's Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting Marines execute emergency response training at MCAS Iwakuni, Japan, Jan. 28, 2021. Emergency response training allows personnel to safely and efficiently respond to critical situations, which allows for the quick restoration of flightline operations and the rescue of those potentially in danger. MCAS Iwakuni's flightline is an essential element in completing the Marine Corps' mission, and ARFF provides an extra level of safety for all flightline procedures.
