The "Spartan Brigade," 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, completed the U.S. Army Armored Formation On-The-Move Network Pilot on Feb. 11 at Fort Stewart Hunter Army Airfield. The three-week pilot tested three different equipment sets of new and emerging commercial satellite and line-of-sight network systems that will be instrumental in informing future Capability Set 25 designs, managed by Mission Tactical, Project Manager Tactical Nework, PEO C3T. The #Soldier feedback and assessment data collected during the pilot will help to enhance continuous real-time OTM network mobility, mission command and situational awareness for armored formations from the division to the battalion level, while making their command posts more mobile and survivable.
