U.S. Navy Rear Adm. Gayle Shaffer, the Navy Deputy Surgeon General, visits U.S. Navy Sailors assigned to a medical response team currently deployed to Takoma Park, Maryland, during their final day at Adventist Health Care, March 3, 2022. The medical response team is deployed to the hospital in support of the continued Department of Defense COVID response operations to help communities in need.
