Oklahoma Army and Air National Guard medical professionals hosted military doctors from the Azerbaijan Operational Capabilities Concept Battalion for a medical knowledge exchange in Oklahoma City, March 30-April 1, 2022.
The exchange focused on learning about each partner nation's standards of casualty care and is part of a series of events organized through the State Partnership Program.
The Oklahoma National Guard and the Azerbaijan military began working together in military to military training and knowledge exchanges in 2002 through the National Guard State Partnership Program. Since 2002, the SPP between Oklahoma and Azerbaijan has grown to include multiple Oklahoma state agencies and universities partnering with their counterparts in Azerbaijan.
