The University of Oregon honors military and first responders at the football team's Spring Game scrimmage at Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Oregon, on April 23, 2022. Before the game, local military service branches and first responders set up displays and activities for attendees. Also, military members carried a large field size American flag on the field during the national anthem to kick off the game and exchange gifts with the players at the conclusion. The university welcomed the 2022 Spring Game back from a two-year hiatus due to the COVID, with over 42,000 fans attending this year's event.
