U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Caryl Armour, a boom operator with the 76th Air Refueling Squadron, 514th Air Mobility Wing, operates the boom of a KC-10 Extender over the Eastern United States on June 8, 2022. One of the many capabilities of the 514th AMW is to facilitate aircraft-to-aircraft refueling services while in flight, extending the duration an aircraft can stay in the air or the distance they can travel without having to land.
