Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division

On March 17, 2022, Gary Teicher, a combat and weapons systems testing technician at NSWC Corona, in Fallbrook, CA was interviewed about his work at the ranges in Camp Pendleton. He worked with a local team of Marines to research and evaluate why they were having issues with the test rounds on the MK19 weapons. The MK19 can shoot live rounds or test rounds and Gary found a solution when shooting test rounds to save time and money for the base.
