The Transatlantic Division welcomed our new commander, Colonel William C. Hannan, Jr.
Lt. Gen. Scott Spellmon, 55th Chief of Engineers and Commanding General of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, passed the colors from Major General Kimberly M. Colloton, outgoing Division commanding general, to Colonel William C. Hannan, Jr. incoming Division commander, who passed them back to Command Sgt. Major Clifton D. Morehouse, Division command sergeant major, completing the transferring of command during a ceremony held in downtown Winchester, Virginia, July 26, 2022.
The Transatlantic Division leaders, staff members, friends and families, shared goodbyes and heartfelt THANK YOUs with Maj. Gen. Kimberly M. Colloton, outgoing Division commanding general, following the Change of Command ceremony presided over by Lt. Gen. Scott Spellmon, 55th Chief of Engineers and Commanding General of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
Major Gen. Colloton has led the Transatlantic Division Team of Teams for two years and has steered us expertly through many challenges and changes and championed our successes and accomplishments every step of the way!
We are sad to see her go but we know she will continue to lead, challenge, support, and grow the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in her next assignment as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Deputy Commanding General for Military and International Operations.
The Transatlantic Division family expresses our greatest appreciation for Maj. Gen. Colloton’s service to the Transatlantic Division! She is truly In It to Win It!
