U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Matthew T. Munger with the Marine Corps Shooting Team speaks about his experience with the Marine Corps Shooting Team and the 2022 National Matches on Camp Perry, Ohio, Aug. 3, 2022. Participants competed with six-man-teams, each shooter firing a timed 100-point aggregate using national match M-16 A4 service rifles from the 200, 300 and 600 yard lines in sitting and standing positions. The National Matches, also called the “World Series of Shooting Sports,” have been a tradition on Camp Perry since 1907. More than 4,500 participants compete annually.
