The Buoy Tender Olympics were held in Juneau, Alaska, August 17, 2022, as a part of the Coast Guard's annual Buoy Tender Round-up.
Buoy Tender Round-up is a week long event that gives the participants an opportunity to receive specialized training, provide discussions to enhance operations, and hold a Buoy Tender Roundup Olympics to test their seamanship skills.
Crews from Coast Guard Cutters Kukui, Cypress, Fir, Anthony Petit, and Elm participated in multiple events including the chain pull, line toss, boom spot, Tug-O-War, and the heat and beat.
