23rd Aircraft Maintenance Unit Aircraft Armament Systems specialists and 5th Munitions Squadron Munitions Systems Maintenance specialists assemble munitions in support of a Bomber Task Force at RAF Fairford, United Kingdom, Aug. 30, 2022. With the 5 MUNS providing munitions assembly support and the 23 AMU providing upkeep for the four 23rd Expeditionary Bomb Squadron’s B-52H Stratofortresses taking part in this BTF, they each contribute a crucial part to the mission that would otherwise be impossible to accomplish without their presence.
