The Oklahoma National Guard’s Surface Maintenance Management Office, and its 13 shops across the state, play a vital role in keeping Oklahoma’s 6,500 Citizen-Soldiers and their equipment mission ready.
The SMMO oversees the Combined Support Maintenance Shop in Norman, Oklahoma, the Unit Training and Equipment Site at Camp Gruber, the Maneuver Area Training Equipment Site at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, and the 10 Field Maintenance Shops spread throughout the state. Each shop is dedicated to maintaining Oklahoma Army National Guard equipment ranging from small arms to heavy machinery.
