U.S. Marines with 3d Marine Division will simultaneously conduct two concurrent large-scale bilateral exercises with key allies across the first island chain in October 2022. Exercise KAMANDAG 6, held at various locations throughout the Philippines, and exercise Resolute Dragon 22, held in Hokkaido, Japan, are designed to strengthen interoperability, capabilities, trust, and cooperation built over decades of shared experiences.
