Part 1 of 2: This commercial features Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division's (NSWC PCD) Sports Day 2022 Event being held in October. This Sports Day promotion, which will be hosted by NSWC PCD's Black/African American (BAA) Special Emphasis Program (SEP), features two of the program's leads Joshua Everett and Rojae Wright who invite the workforce to participate in this inaugural competition. Four teams competing in four categories for the win.
Sports Day is a common, annual event that occurs at most schools in Jamaica to allow individuals from multiple backgrounds to form teams to compete in physical and mental challenges. The same concept will be applied to this Sports Day event to facilitate collaboration and the development of team spirit through sports. The BAA SEP's initiative strives to bring the Navy Lab even closer as a workforce under NSWC PCD's Equal Employment Opportunity and Diversity & Inclusion Office.
