U.S. Marines assigned to 2nd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, conduct battle drills via roof insertion on an UH-1Y Venom, during Weapons and Tactics Instructor (WTI) course 1-23 at K-9 Village, Yuma Proving Ground, Oct. 8, 2022. WTI is a seven-week training event hosted by MAWTS-1, providing standardized advanced tactical training and certification of unit instructor qualifications to support Marine aviation training and readiness, and assists in developing and employing aviation weapons and tactics.
