SAN DIEGO - Master Chief Lawrence Sharpe, Force Master Chief of the Seabees, presented command coins, Sept. 21 in San Diego, to Builder 2nd Class (SWC/EXW) Tivonja Johnson and Construction Electrician 2nd Class (SCW/EXW) Jana Michels.
During Sharpe's visit, he explained to NAVFAC Southwest Seabees his position and what he is currently doing for Seabees and provided details on how he is working to enhance the Seabee workforce. Sharpe also encouraged the group to further their respective rates through self study.
Construction Electrician 2nd Class (SCW/EXW) Jana Michels was recognized for outstanding effort as ET, assistant command fitness leader, and as assistant command financial specialist. She is recognized for being a hard-charger always willing to take on more work.
Builder 2nd Class (SWC/EXW) Tivonja Johnson was recognized for her outstanding effort running central tool room and serving as material liaison. Her hard work and dedication has impacted the quality of training provided to tenant commands prior to checking out tools.
