Petty Officer 2nd Class Christopher Barsness was recognized as the Company Commander of the Quarter, Aug. 8, 2022, in front of the training division staff at the Coast Guard’s singular enlisted recruit training center in Cape May, N.J. To meet the Nation’s needs, the Coast Guard will recruit, train, support, and retain a mission-ready total workforce empowered with the information, knowledge, skills, equipment, and support systems needed to excel across the entire Coast Guard.
