Local civic and community leaders of the Dayton and Miami Valley region toured Wright-Patterson Air Force Base to learn about the base's vital mission to national security. The mission briefing and tour were part of the inaugural Honorary Commanders Program, here, at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, Oct. 12, 2022. The Honorary Commanders Program pairs a civic and community leader with an Air Force commander for a two-year cohort and is designed to create an open flow of communication between the surrounding communities and the base to solve problems and build partnerships.
