The goal of the training exercise was to increase interoperability between U.S. Army rotary wing and U.S. Air Force fixed wing assets in recovering isolated personnel. UH-60M Blackhawk helicopters from the 2nd Combat Aviation Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division ROK/U.S. Combined Division facilitated the personnel recovery aspect of the training and A-10 Thunderbolt II attack aircraft facilitated the area security aspect of the training.
