Paratroopers from the 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment and the 307th Airborne Engineer Battalion, 82nd Airborne Division, participate in the 78th annual Waal River crossing event Sept. 20, 2022, on Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The event commemorates the 49 men who gave their last full measure of devotion during the crossing in Nijmegen, Netherlands, 1944.
