As part of Project Convergence 22, the Navy experimented with Landing Craft
Air Cushion (LCAC) ships to help sustainment efforts. During PC22, all U.S.
military services, as well as multinational partners experimented with
distributed sustainment over extended distances in a maritime environment.
LCACs can transport equipment and personnel from ship to shore.
