Gideon Sherry, a platoon commander assigned to 9th Engineer Support Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, conducts an interview during Tomodachi Rescue Exercise at Kozushima Island, Tokyo, Japan, Nov. 9, 2022. Sherry expresses the importance of the Tomodachi Rescue Exercise as a shared responsibility for serving with our Japanese allies to provide support in critical situations and shares his personal experiences receiving and providing disaster relief.
