The Joint Pacific Alaska Range Complex is surveyed from a U.S. Air Force C-130J Super Hercules assigned to the 317th Airlift Wing at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, during RED FLAG-Alaska 23-1 at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Oct. 17, 2022. The JPARC is the Department of Defense’s premier training venue in Alaska, covering more than 77,000 miles integrating all domains–land, air, sea, space and cyberspace. RF-A utilizes the JPARC as the venue provides a realistic training environment that allows Airmen to train for full spectrum engagements, ranging from individual skills to complex, large-scale joint engagements.
