Coast Guard shares ship lift evolution at the U.S. Coast Guard Baltimore Yard, over a two-week time period in a time-lapse video compilation, Friday, Nov. 18, 2022. The members of the Coast Guard Yard worked together to undock the Coast Guard Cutter Morro Bay, undock the Coast Guard Cutter Harriet Lane, dock the Coast Guard Cutter Eagle and then re-dock the Coast Guard Cutter Harriet Lane. A $26M expansion to the existing ship lift was completed in June 2022 , which added a third rail system, increasing land based transfer area for dry dock space by 30 percent.
