Brigadier General Carter Ham, Commanding General, Task Force Olympia, talks to a CNN International reporter about how the situation in Mosul is mostly calm with light insurgent contact, and the city is under control of the Iraqi government. Describes the fighting on Nov 11 when insurgents briefly held some police stations. He says most insurgents are local and did not come up from Fallujah. Calls police performance in Mosul disappointing on Nov 11, but says Mosul has adequate security forces. Says most of the trouble occurred on the west side of Mosul.
