730th Air Mobility Squadron use Mechanized Materials Handling System to increases distribution abilities at Yokota Air Base, December 13, 2022. The MMHS is capable of being fully automated and has changed the average loading time from 46 hours to 45-75 minutes. They are two systems working side by side able to scan cargo, determine where to place it for efficiency, as well as how to bundle it to optimize spacing. Since its installation in 2015 the MMHS has seen no downtime.
