U.S. service members compete during the Marine Corps Marksmanship Competition, Pacific (MCMCP), Marines Corps Base Hawaii, Jan. 31 - Feb. 3, 2023. The MCMCP is one of four regional competitions throughout the Marine Corps in which U.S. service members participate in small arms marksmanship competitions. Each course of fire is unique, utilizing timed rifle and pistol iterations to challenge shooters, build upon Marine Corps marksmanship fundamentals, and identify the top competitors.
