Soldiers assigned to the 4th Battalion, 27th Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division take part in a Table XII gunnery training exercise to hone their individual and crew level gunnery skills and increase their overall lethality. The purpose of this training event helps increase readiness and validates the unit's field artillery platoons to execute collective tasks in a realistic environment in preparation for a future deployment.
Training exercises like this help maintain the 1st Armored Division's readiness and builds a culture of readiness through fit and cohesive teams led by expert leaders to live the virtues of the "Iron Soldier" fight and win our nation's wars and support our allies when called upon.
Sound bites include U.S. Army 1st Lt. Kyle Carubba and Pfc. Nicholas Anderson, assigned to 4-27 FAR, who speak on the importance of the training exercise and why the U.S. Army allows them to "Be All They Can Be." Soldiers can find their purpose and pursue their passions through a wide range of interest areas across the U.S. Army.
